Everyone raves about Dickies and Carhartt, but where's the Burton love? Yes, it's a dedicated outdoors gear brand---specifically for snow sports. But hear me out! These tech pants are multipurpose for work, play and hanging out with friends. I wear the black pair literally every day for my overnight part-time warehouse job. Literally every day. I wash them twice a week (delicate cycle only). And every time, they come out looking the same as the day I bought them.Second, the comfort is unparalleled. The stretch in these pants is multidimensional. Basically, it has infinite stretch in all directions. I wear an XS, and I can bend comfortably lifting heavy boxes and equipment and not feel restricted or strained. It's like wearing leggings in a sense that I don't feel up against hard seams, zippers or stiff pockets. Speaking of pockets, my Google Pixel 6 fits easily (and securely zipped) in the thigh pocket and my box cutter, hand sanitizer, thick marker, thick highlighter and Sony earbuds all fit in 1 of my hip pockets.I absolutely love these tech pants and bought both colors. They have that great skater-style vibe that matches my personality, but are highly utilitarian. Burton is easily becoming my favorite brand of clothes. Rarely, do I buy new clothes, and I'm picky about the brands and pieces I buy. I want style, but mostly function. If I buy hats, they should be waterproof/UPF+ rated so when I'm outdoors hiking or walking my dog on trails I can feel confident my head doesn't get drenched.I feel like I get what I pay for, and with the lifetime warranty on their garments, each piece will pretty much be hanging in my closet for life.
